I gravitate towards source images that reek of awkward trauma, consumption, insanity, mundanity, and honesty. These images are collected from Amazon product review selfies, stock photos of smiling men with respiratory problems, and from my own disposable camera. These are the private moments of our lives, publicized. They are insignificant but universally understood, which is why I wish to elevate these raw events to the gallery wall, a place where people can contemplate art and realize, “Oh shit, this is about me.”

I am a mixed media artist and graphic designer currently operating out of Richmond, VA. I’m a University of Florida Alumni with a BFA in Drawing and a Certificate in Graphic Design. I draw artistic inspiration from consumer iconography, interactions between strangers, Swiss and German design, typography, and language in general.
